Being a business owner doesn't have to be a mixed bag of stress, confusion, and taxes when it comes to numbers. We make your numbers a fun* and powerful tool to help you succeed in whatever your goals may be.

"You're an accountant, you can do whatever I decide I need you to do, right?"

Nope, not exactly. While we do have the ability to review the tax return you've already prepared, or advise on international tax issues, or use MYOB, or help with <<insert any other quick random job>>...these are only things we might offer to existing clients as helpful add-ons, but absolutely would not be the basis of our entire relationship. Check our "What we do" page for our core services that we will sign clients on for.

High quality compliance work

With our experience and qualifications, comes high quality annual and periodic compliance work (e.g. financial statements, tax returns). Meaning, we're not going to be the cheapest, nor are we trying to be. We know we do good work in this space and it speaks volumes when needed. If you want cheap and corner-cutting 'fast', it's not here #sorrynotsorry!

Xero

We are a 100% Xero practice. After many years traversing various different accounting systems, Xero is where it's at for us. Know that you will need to sign up for Xero if not already.

Paperless = systems

If you're uncomfortable working with systems to get things over the line then we probably aren't going to be a good fit! We are systems champions and will use (after carefully reviewing) these to prepare your work, get things signed, send invoices, etc. If you're a technophobe, this isn't the accountant for you! Plenty of others out there who still love paper (and maybe charging for extra storage, document destruction, insurance etc. 😜)

No Fridays + remote working

This is a lifestyle office and so we are not available on Fridays. We are also lovers of travel so we might not always be working from the office during normal work hours. We don't know who actually needs this but we won't always just 'be there' or urgently available at the drop of a hat.

*fun is a loose term and may only apply to us when it comes to numbers, but we will try our best to make it apply to you as well 😅
